My Background
I found art much later in life. Starting with ceramics I quickly moved on to drawing. Having no real training other than some short online, non-graded, classes I consider myself a self-taught artist.

I use many different mediums, such as color pencils, charcoal, but most of my current pieces are pastels pencils. Photography is also a passion and I use it for most of my reference photos. So be sure to check out that gallery as well.

Artist statement
My work is a tribute to the raw power and quiet grace of performance horses. Using pastel pencils, I aim to capture not only their physical form but the spirit and emotions behind every movement. These animals embody both strength and freedom to their riders and through my art I hope to convey that to the viewer.
A brief about me
My horse story
I grew spending every wish I had for a horse of my own. When that wish finally came true at around 11, I spent every minute after obsessed with learning all I could about my horse and horses in general. I was lucky enough to have some amazing trainers over the years who taught me to push myself to be a better rider. I took all of the lessons, the hours spent competing in FFA Horse Judging and my obsession and used it to my advantage as an artist.
At my core I'm still just a horse crazy girl who enjoys seeing beautiful horses. I'm sure many of you can relate.

2025 Rodeo Poster Contest
Earlier this year I was selected as one of 10 artists to create a poster for the final round of the Pendleton Round-Up. After lots of work I submitted my work, while it wasn't selected as the final poster design I am very proud of being given the chance.

4th Annual Cowgirl GAthering

I am so very pleased to announce that Bosal has been awarded Best In Show for the Cowgirl Gathering!
This is such an amazing show with so many incredible pieces and to be selected for this is an honor!
Online Art Show
This year the Cowgirl Gathering is taking their art show digital! This will allow for more chances to view all the amazing works from cowgirl artists around the country!
The Show will run from May 1 - 31 with a VIP Pre-Release on April 25th.
